Announcement

On January 1, 2004, the Cornwall Community Hospital assumed the ownership and operation of the two Cornwall acute care hospitals, including the Cornwall General Hospital. For the public, this is exciting news as we will begin to better serve the needs of the communities through better integration and better access to services. As changes occur we will notify those who might be affected as best we can. In the immediate future you can expect the same people providing the same quality of service in the same place as before. The only difference is a new corporation with a new name, which for a period of time will not be on display until the new signs are made.

If you call the hospital, do not be surprised when you hear "Cornwall Community Hospital - Hôpital communautaire de Cornwall" with the site name - either McConnell or Second Street.
